This was a small adventure, but it made a good amuse-bouche to our upcoming, daring endeavors. Speaking of things to whet the appetite, these appetizers are called sambusas. We ordered two chicken sambusas and two beef ones. They are similar to empanadas, but traditionally the contents differ and empanadas are deep fried while sambusas are pan fried. Arnie ate Alex’s chicken one and Alex ate Arnie’s beef one.

Actually, I think I ordered chicken and Alex ordered beef, and we each accidentally ate the wrong one. Right? I guess I don't really remember which I ordered, but I feel like I'm more likely to order chicken.
